These terms explain how Bag for More works and what you agree to when you create an account, browse offers, or place an order.
1. The service
Bag for More connects customers with local shops in Cairo, Egypt offering surplus food as mystery bags. You browse offers in the app, reserve a bag, then collect it in person at the shop. The service is currently available for Cairo pickups only. By creating an account, browsing offers, or placing an order, you agree to use Bag for More only for lawful personal use and in line with these terms.
2. Role of sellers
Bag For More provides a platform through which customers can discover and reserve mystery bags offered by participating sellers. The seller is responsible for preparing, describing, selling, and handing over the food, and for determining which payment methods it accepts at pickup.
3. Your account
Keep your account details accurate and protect your sign-in information. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.
4. Orders and pickup
Each listing shows the price, the kind of bag, and the pickup window. Bag contents can vary because that is part of a mystery bag. Please arrive within the shown pickup window, bring the order code from the app, and follow any instructions shown for that shop.
5. Payment at pickup
No payment is processed through the Bag For More app. You pay the seller directly when collecting your order using a payment method accepted by that seller. Available payment methods may vary between sellers.
Bag For More does not collect or store payment card details. Any payment made using a seller's card terminal, mobile wallet, or other payment service is handled directly by the seller and its payment provider.
6. Cancellations
Customers may cancel an order in the app at any time before the bag is collected. Shops may cancel an order until one hour before the pickup window starts. If a shop needs to cancel closer to pickup, or needs help with an exceptional payment dispute after money was taken at the counter, the shop should email Bag for More support. We will work with the shop and the customer to resolve it.
7. Mystery bags and allergens
The exact contents of a mystery bag may vary depending on the seller's available surplus food. Customers with allergies, intolerances, or dietary requirements should contact the seller before collecting or consuming the food. Sellers are responsible for providing accurate ingredient and allergen information.
8. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app, interfere with the service, create false orders, resell bags without permission, or use another person's account without consent.
9. Changes
We may update features, partners, prices, availability, and these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of the app after updates means you accept the latest terms.
